Some stories are meant to be read. Some are meant to be felt. And some quietly find their way into the little corners of your heart you thought you had forgotten. Petals Between Ink & Quill is a literary collection of standalone prose and poetry - where ordinary moments carry extraordinary weight, silence speaks louder than words, and the smallest feelings bloom into something unforgettable. Here, a rainy afternoon can feel like a memory. A half-finished letter can hold an entire lifetime. A forgotten photograph can reopen a thousand doors. And a few lines of poetry can say everything that conversations never could. Between these pages lie fragments of love and longing, nostalgia and loneliness, hope and heartbreak, dreams and disappointments - the beautiful mess of being human, written in ink and scattered like petals between the pages. So, before you begin... Let the rain do its thing against the window. Dim the lights. Put on that soft playlist you've been pretending not to be obsessed with. And just sit there with a steaming cup of garam chai, a plate of crispy, hot pakoras, a few Parle-G biscuits, and some namkeen within reach because honestly, what is reading without a little munching on the side? Turn the page. Slowly. Because these aren't stories you simply read. They linger. They sit beside you long after the last sentence. They become the line you underline. The poem you reread. The paragraph you stare at for a little too long. The feeling you cannot quite explain, but somehow know. Somewhere between the ink and the quill, you may find a piece of yourself. So come in. The pages are waiting. And the chai is getting cold. ✎﹏﹏﹏﹏ ɴᴏᴛᴇ: If you are reading this book on any other platform other than Wattpad you are very likely to be at risk of a malware attack. If only things had been different. If only I had been better, if only I would have put more effort in. Would it make a difference? Would anything have changed? This is written for everyone who has spent time wondering about "what if" because your imagination can't be controlled by the present. To all those who think back and ask themselves if only, because you can't be satisfied with what happened.

a recollection of my worst and most cinematic nightmares. of which occur often because I have nightmare disorder. My name is Lara! I have nightmare disorder, also known as parasomnia sleep disorder. Despite the frequent, terrifying dreams I have, I actually love having my condition. I love watching horror movies and all things spooky, so getting to sleep is like watching a free scary movie my mind has written just for me. That sounds insane but considering I live full time with it, I try to be optimistic about it. With that said, welcome to the nightmare factory.

This book will be a collection of short stories focusing on a variety of prompts. These stories are going to be a personal project to build on my writing skills and gain feedback from a community of writers and readers. Advice or tips are greatly appreciated and I will keep a regular upload schedule until I run out of ideas, in which case I would love suggestions from anyone who comes across this. I won't be writing fanfics and instead will make an attempt to build my own characters. Some of these stories will be descriptions of emotions, scenes or people while others may carry and follow a plot. I hope anyone who sees this decides to leave a comment, preferably with advice or tips on what you might want to see as a reader.

Looking for a quick read? Welcome to my little collection of stories. I'm RexSkyler, and I've been writing on Wattpad since 2019. Over the years, I've created many ideas, scenes, and characters that didn't always become full-length books. Some were born from random inspiration, late-night thoughts, or simply moments when I wanted to tell a story that could be completed in a single chapter. This book is where those stories find a home. Each chapter is a different one-shot with its own characters, plot, and emotions. Some may be sweet and heartwarming, others may be heartbreaking, funny, mysterious, or full of adventure. There is no single genre here-just stories waiting to be told. Whether you're looking for romance, drama, fantasy, or something completely unexpected, I hope you'll find a story that stays with you long after you've finished reading. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy every chapter as much as I enjoyed writing them. - RexSkyler ✨

Some summers are remembered for the places we went. Some, for the people we met. And some for the things we can never quite put into words. The Summer That Lost a Day is a collection of poems about distance, memory, growing up, quiet goodbyes, and the strange spaces between one moment and the next. For the feelings that stayed long after the moment was gone. For the memories that feel borrowed from another life. For the people who became distant without ever really leaving. Maybe the day wasn't lost. Maybe it simply became a poem.

Writing has always been my thing-my quiet escape and my loud confession. Here I share my creations: the raw pieces of a mind that never stops thinking and a heart that never stops feeling. Welcome to my world of ink and impulse. This collection of poetry and prose is for those of us who feel we've lost our connections. For those who sometimes feel a little less than human because of it, yet somehow feel all the emotions in the world at once. 🖤

"He's dangerous, cold, and incredibly rich. Why are you crying? This is a paid vacation." In the world of tropes, every powerful man comes with a tragic contract, a dark secret, or a lethal reputation. Usually, the woman caught in his orbit spends her time trembling, weeping, or fighting for a dignity that doesn't pay the bills. This is not that story. This is a raw, unpolished collection of 11 (and counting) case studies on what happens when "Powerful Husbands" meet women who have their priorities straight: The First: A Billionaire who expected a dramatic breakdown but got a woman so exhausted by her 9-to-5 that his "Contract Marriage" sounded like a corporate sabbatical with better thread counts. The Second: A Mafia Don who thought he kidnapped a trembling butterfly, only to realize he's brought something... entirely different into his lion's den. The Third: An Arctic CEO in an arranged marriage who thinks he can freeze out his bride, only to find he's legally tethered to the literal Sun. The Conclusion of the Study? Power is intimidating, but a woman who has officially run out of patience is a force of nature. Whether they are too tired to care, too lazy to rebel, or too bright to be ignored, these women are turning the Palatial Villas and Mafia Penthouses into their personal comfort zones. Logistics: Tone: Chaotic, satirical, and strictly common-sense. Quality: Unfiltered. Errors are just souvenirs from my lack of sleep. Updates: Whenever my "Little Hukum" allows a ceasefire and the real-life crises lets me breathe. Because let's be honest: if a miserable man is going to ruin your life, he might as well pay for the premium mattress while he does it.

A series of prompt based writing entered into the contest by @LayethTheSmackDown TW: Some stories may include intense themes or elements of violence or horror. If I ever think a story might be too extreme for some people, I will write an additional message beforehand. I never write these elements solely for the sake of scaring, but instead to further the plot I have envisioned. Nonetheless, I will try my hardest to keep any graphic content such as violence, gore, horror, or other elements to a reasonable level. After all, SmackDown should be for everyone to enjoy!

Just as the world holds both the good and the bad, this collection is split into two distinct paths: ☀️ The Sunlit Moments: Heartwarming slices of life capturing innocence, quiet growth, and gentle connections. 🌙 The Midnight Moments: Dark, atmospheric tales of toxic manipulation, psychological angst, and reality distortion. Step into the ordinary. Experience the extraordinary. Choose your moment. Please note: This is the exclusive, authorized text for this project. This anthology is published solely under this verified profile. Accept no imitations.
